·   Thank all the club members who participated in the Pancake Breakfast and thank the Leo club members who came to help as well.

·   Bob Lindsey is chairing the fund raising committee and they are looking at ways to improve the Rose Sale or another successful fundraiser to take the place of the Rose Sale…so if you have any ideas, contact Bob Lindsey, or Jean Stuntz for more information.

·   District Meeting October 20, 2007 in Memphis Texas. Lila Vars will be leaving her house at 7:45 and would like riders to go with her…so if you are interested in going…be at Lila’s house by 7:45 to ride with her.

·   Andy Hix says to be ready to work the play-off games beginning in late October…he will need 50 to 60 volunteers per game…our club made in the neighborhood of $20,000 last year…we need to continue to do a good job for these games as there are other organizations who would love this opportunity and will jump at that chance if the opportunity should arise….Our club provides everything for these games…people to run the chains, concession stand, selling programs, driving carts, announcing whatever is needed we provide it for the play-off games.

·   The approximate cost to adopt a child is $18,500.00.

·   Special Deliveries mission is to place babies into stable 2 parent Christian Homes.

·   Texas is 5^th in the Nation in Teenage Pregnancies.

·   Texas is 2^nd in the Nation in Teenage Births.

·   60% of single parent homes are living at poverty level.

·   Parents of all Leo Club Members.

·   Harley Baker because his shirt was blinding.

·   Freddie Davis parked straight in and did NOT angle park like he should have in his little gray Eclipse.

·   Danny Smith’s because his phone did not go off, however he tattles on the Queen to the Queen Mother who works for Danny and she is not happy about that. Danny said he would try and keep the tattling down a bit.

·   Andy Hix looked like he might be up to something when he came to meeting today….AND he did not smile at the Queen.

·   Bill Craddock for coming in late and not being able to perform his singing duties.

·   Fined everyone who did have a tie on.

·   Bill Townsend for asking Past District Governor Lila Vars if she was coming as a witch on Halloween.

·   Dale Davis for having his phone open during the program, either texting, taking photo’s or something.

·   Queen Regan drew ticket…and Kayla Ebencamp was the winner which drew huge boo’s from the entire club because apparently Kayla also won $1,000 at the WT Game on Saturday…just think you could have purchased a lottery ticket too.

·   Bob Lindsey’s son who was run down by a van earlier this year passed his physical training test at West Point.

·   Andy Carter hit a long drive…not so straight…bounced his golf ball off of someone’s garage door, left a huge dent, and the ball ricoched back on the golf course…what luck…sorry about the garage door.

·   Kayla Ebencamp won $1,000 at the WT game Saturday.

·   Gold Star Trust is in Canyon now.
