- Lila Vars brought the program designed to help us get to know our fellow lions. The game was 20 questions and 3 bonus questions. Lila being the good teacher and grader extraordinaire will grade the papers and hand out prizes next week.

Lions Pride
- Queen Susan thanked Mary Ellen for taking her place last week.
- Queen Susan wants everyone to know that she is in the CHS all School Musical preformed in CHS Auditorium 7:30 Thursday and Saturday the 2nd and 4th of November and 2:30 Sunday the 5th of November.
- Queen Susan wants everyone to know her birthday is November 10.
- Anna Beth Baker announced that the CHS Soaring Pride Band is State Bound. 13 bands competed last Saturday in Plainview…only 3 bands would advance to State level…of that 3 bands CHS was #1 of the three. They will perform on Monday November 6 at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio…GOOD LUCK CHS SOARING PRIDE BAND. ALSO someone stole Queen Susan’s Care Bear from Anna Beth while she was making the band announcement.
- Lance Jones announced that the JV Boys Cross country won 1st place in Lubbock on Saturday.
- Dan Shuman-16 students from CHS will join Regional all State Choir.
- Fern Hefner’s granddaughter was one of the CHS Choir members who sang for Regional All State on Saturday as well.
Drawing-Split the Pot Winner
- $32.00 Ticket #547973 was won by Bob Shepherd.
- Freddie Davis has agreed to introduce Queen Susan for the month of November and “guard” her stuff…mainly her tickets as it is suspected that he stole her ticket last week anyway.

- Dan Hall -Directors meeting 11/2/06 at Big Earl’s in the Eagle Room.
- Dan Hall for Judge Anderson reminded everyone that 11/12/06 Sunday at 1:30 everyone should meet at Sears for the annual Coat & Shoe Campaign for Girlstown/Boys Ranch….this is annual event and Sears is going above and beyond for us this year so a good turnout would be appreciated.
- Mary Ellen wants everyone to shop the Duncan & Boyd extravaganza after club meeting today….they will be next door till 2:00 P. M.
- 5% Andy Hicks says November 17 & 18 should be on your calendars to work the play-off football games…we could possibly have a double header for that weekend and all hands on deck would be appreciated. THIS IS OUR LARGEST FUNDRAISER FOR THE YEAR…WE ARE THE ONLY CIVIC CLUB LARGE ENOUGH TO DO THIS EVENT and we need everyone to participate who possibly can.
