• Sight First 1 was started in 1925 when Hellen Keller spoke at the Lions International National Convention and asked the Lions Clubs to become Knights of Sight.  Sight First 1raised 143 million dollars  for this cause and wanted to train 2500 eye doctors for this mission…they would up with 65,000 eye doctors and 300 Sight Centers. 24 million people have had their sight saved or restored though Sight First1.
• Sight First 2raise 200 million dollars and was more successful than anyone thought.  However, 80% of the money was raised outside the United States so the USA needs to step up and be a better supporter.  You can start by raising $110.00 per club member for Sight First 2.  Sight First 2 hopes to prevent 37 million people from becoming blind.  National Lions Club will award prizes to each member according to the amount of money raised by each individual member in order to keep a level playing field.

• Bob Lindsey paper fine for Joke about President Bush landing on the Lawn of the White House with 2 pigs…one under each arm..the Marine that saluted him as he walked down the steps asked “Where did you get the 2 pigs sir?”  to which President replied they were Arkansas Razor back pigs he got one for Hillary Clinton and one for John Kerry.  The Marine smiled and said “nice trade sir.”

• Paula Pierson for wearing her blue tooth gear.
• The Twins because they were only half here.
• Shawn Fouts for sucking up….but he did a really nice job and she did appreciate her gift.

• Mike Wartes for not coming in a long time…and the usual…parking place issue…something about snow and being behind and he will get to it.

• Dale Davis for police chase in her neighborhood…did not matter that Dale was not even in town for the police chase…knew nothing about the police chase…would not have even been on duty during the police chase…he gets a fine anyway.

Queen Susan would like everyone to know, she will be going to the Social Saturday night at CHS…NO she does not have a date…but she was voted Most Friendly Sr..and is in the running for Class Favorite and Miss CHS…way to go Susan.
