·   Spent Fall 2007 as aid to Congressman Mac Thornberry

·   Lived in a townhouse in DC with 8 other people 4 of which were not from our country.

·   Constituent work consisted of taking phone calls from people passionate about their particular cause…both pro and con. You filled out a report on each call and gave it to Mr. Thornberry for his review and consideration. Mr. Thornberry really does read them and consider his position based in part from these phone calls.

·   While in DC he was able to see many things and do many things some of which included:

o Legislative Research

o Federal Budget Hearings

o Tours

o Legislative Assistant

o There were always hearings and briefings to attend covering a multitude of subjects

·   Bill Braudt for racing the Queen to the meeting.

·   Gary Hinders for his bad golf score at the Canyon Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

·   Fines to all tables who did not have mixed company

·   Harley Baker for his attendance…where have you been Harley?

·   Dan Shuman was late, broke Queens Graduation present and used the wrong name when he introduced the Queen at the beginning of the meeting…who is “Robin”.

·   Andy Hix because he wants the Queen to be in the 4^th of July parade…again.
